Dr. Meredith Barr is a Canadian Vascular Surgeon practising in the Greater Toronto Area. She completed her undergraduate and medical degrees at Western University, followed by her Vascular Surgery residency at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario. Early in her career, she has developed a strong interest in venous disease, particularly in the dermatologic manifestations of venous hypertension and the management of complex wounds. These interests have since become a central focus of her clinical practice and continue to shape her ongoing professional development. She recognizes that venous disease remains under-appreciated and under-treated in Canada, despite its significant impact on patient quality of life. As such, she hopes to champion improved awareness, education, and access to comprehensive venous care.
