Prof. Suat Doğancı graduated as a specialist in Cardiovascular Surgery from Gülhane Military Medical Academy in 2008 and completed a research fellowship at Maastricht University, European Venous Center, in 2016–2017, focusing on interventional and surgical management of deep venous pathologies. He specializes in venous stent biomechanics, chronic venous obstruction, pelvic venous insufficiency, and IVUS-guided precision therapies, developing innovative clinical strategies for advanced venous reconstruction and minimally invasive interventions. Between 2011 and 2016, he served as assistant and associate professor at GMMA, and from 2020 to 2022 as professor at Gülhane Training and Research Hospital; he currently directs the Vein Vascular Clinic in Ankara. As Vice President of the Turkish Society of Phlebology, Secretary General of the European College of Phlebology, and a member of the American Venous Forum, he actively contributes to the development of international guidelines and educational programs. With over 90 SCI/SCIE-indexed publications and multiple national and international awards, Prof. Doğancı continues to advance the translation of innovative venous therapies into clinical practice.
