I am Enikő Pomozi, MD, Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the DeBakey Heart and Vascular Center, Houston Methodist Hospital in Texas, United States, as well as a Radiology Resident Doctor and PhD Candidate in Heart and Vascular Centre of Semmelweis University, focused on advanced vascular imaging and interventions. I graduated from Semmelweis University’s Faculty of Medicine in 2020 and initially trained in vascular surgery before transitioning to radiology to combine hands-on clinical insight with state-of-the-art diagnostic and interventional techniques.
My research concentrates on peripheral arterial occlusive disease and vascular calcification, as well as the long-term outcomes of peripheral vascular procedures. Through internships, research stays, and courses across Europe and the United States, I broadened my clinical and academic experience. I am committed to integrating high-quality imaging, rigorous clinical research, and compassionate patient care to improve outcomes for patients with peripheral vascular disease.
