I am a Professor of Surgery at the University of Colorado and Program Director of the Vascular Surgery Fellowship and Integrated Residency. I served as Chair of the American Venous Forum (AVF) Guidelines Committee and as a member of the AVF Research Committee. I led the development of national clinical practice guidelines, including the AVF Upper Extremity Deep Vein Thrombosis guidelines. My scholarly focus is deep venous disease and intravascular ultrasound, within the broader spectrum of vascular surgery.
