Cheryl Brunelle, PT, MS, CCS, CLT, is the associate director of the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) Breast Cancer-Related Lymphedema Research Program and a clinical specialist in the MGH Physical and Occupational Therapy department. She is a certified lymphedema therapist with over twenty years’ experience treating patients with lymphatic diseases. She is recognized as a Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Clinical Specialist by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties, and is a member of the Global Oversight Committee for the Lymphatic Education and Research Network. Cheryl’s current research interests include breast lymphedema, primary lymphedema, lipedema and lymphatic measurement and diagnostic criteria. She has published over 50 research papers, and is leading international lymphedema risk reduction policy updates for the Lymphology Association of North America and the National Lymphedema Network.
