Mary S. Lin, M.D. is a general surgery resident at the University of Maryland in Baltimore, MD. She recently completed two years of academic development time as a clinical research fellow at the Center for Vascular Research at the University of Maryland under the mentorship of Dr. Brajesh K. Lal. Her research focus during this time included the use of artificial intelligence techniques in the development of risk assessment models for venous thromboembolism. She was supported by the 2024 AVF-Jobst Clinical Research Grant, as well as the NIH T32 Epidemiology of Aging training grant (AG000262).
