Gloria Salazar, M.D., FSIR FCIRSE, is board-certified in Radiology with a focus on Vascular and Interventional Radiology. She specializes in women’s and venous interventional procedures, particularly endovascular interventions, venous disease, and vascular malformations. A former chair of the SIR Women’s Health Council, Dr. Salazar advocates globally for women's health, speaks at international conferences, and publishes extensively. She is a Clinical Associate Professor of Radiology at the University of North Carolina, known for her leadership in minimally invasive treatments, research contributions, and dedication to education and mentorship.
